OKS paper Lantern making workshops, Stanley Square, Sale

Join Our Kids Social and make a simple paper lantern to light up Stanley Square for the magical carnival of light parade!

There will be 2 sessions which will run 3pm – 3.30pm & 3.45pm – 4.15pm at the Unit 24 in Stanley Square (The old Everything 4 Unit next to Jenny’s cafe), Sale.

With the spaces being free we get a high number of no shows so we do ask you only book your space if you are definitely participating. No shows will result in fewer lanterns to light up the town! 

The parade starts at 5pm at the Waterside Plaza and it will finish in Stanley Square. Led by some very intriguing characters, we will be celebrating night time pollinators and prowlers. With illuminated magical moths, a curious haloed hair, a giant beaming bear and more! With music and merriment join us for a magical night walk through the town.

Wrap up warm and join the local community to follow this wonderful festive sight.

There is plenty of time to treat the family to a delicious meal either before or after the parade in one of Sale’s family friendly restaurants with performances from Sale Youth Choir and the brass band in the square from 2.30pm.

Suitable for age 3 +.  Full adult supervision is required.
