Make, Do & Bop, Southport Festival

Our Kids Social are super excited to be part of the Southport Festival this May. Back at The Atkinson after their sell out event in February, you can expect mythically themed arts and crafts, the legendary two-channel silent disco, bubble machine, props and inflatables, plus the phenomenally mystical wheel of chance – you choose the music but the wheel decides the challenge!

Buy Tickets

Bring your nippers in their best fabled and fictitious fancy-dress to match the 2018 festival theme of Myths and Legends. There will be prizes for the best costumes – and no reason why adults can’t get involved too! We cannot wait for the dance floor to fill with Gods and Goddesses, Creatures and Beasts, Heroes and Heroines. Are you a moonwalking Medusa? Or a Cupid who can quickstep? Maybe a Lorelei who can limbo? Or even a mamboing Minotaur? We cannot wait to see you!

This May, take the opportunity to bring your family to our den of folk-lore, our hideout of misbelief, and make sure your bring your dancing shoes. It will be Timberlake vs Stone Roses, Candi Staton vs Little Mix as you all throw your hands up, let your hair down and party together in our fantasy disco experience.

Everyone coming to this event needs to buy a ticket, babes in arms go free. We recommend this event for children aged 4-10 although we welcome older and younger siblings.
