It does what it says on the tin – pizza, prosecco and a good old boogie – what more could you ask for this half term? Wanna be in our gang? Then let’s hear you shout YES!
After the roaring success of our New Year’s Eve Social at YES Manchester, we will be back in this epic city centre venue this half term. We cannot wait!
Grab your dancing shoes, let the kids dress themselves and come join us – we guarantee top tunes, fantastic food and a little bit of fizz for grown ups on the side.
A ticket at just £10 gets you a huge slice of margarita pizza for your little one, a glass of fizz or soft drink for the adult, plus entry for both of you into the first floor pink room for our legendary interactive silent disco. Additional child tickets can be bought for £6 which include a pizza slice and drink.
If you have never been to one of our silent discos before then where have you been hiding? Get up and express yourself because everyone is welcome on the OKS dancefloor and we want you to get down and get funky this February.
With two channels to choose from you can listen to all the latest kids’ fave pop tunes or turn back time on channel two with it adults’ guilty pleasures. Think Candi Staton vs Baby Shark and you get the idea! Plus we have all our interactive games, challenges, props and fancy dress – it’s going to be all the OKS fun you have come to expect from us and then when you are all danced out, pizza will be waiting for you back on the ground floor.
Disco is 11-12, ending just in time for lunch. Bar will be open so get the train into town, meet up with mates and kick back this half term OKS style.
Please note that we recommend age 4+ for our silent disco headsets but younger siblings are of course welcome. If you have a baby, they are also welcome but please bring a sling or baby carrier as buggy parking is limited and all buggies will have to be left on the ground floor. There maybe a small wait on food at peak times, the kitchen will do their best to keep this to a minimum.
At each venue, though secure, different rooms may be in use for different activities. It is the responsibility of parents to stay with their children at all times.
Staff on site at the social will hold DBS and Children's Safeguarding qualifications. We would ask that any concerns you have are raised with a member of the team immediately.
Adults will not be allowed to come to the social unless accompanied by children!
There will be qualified first aiders on site at all times.
All venues are fully licensed and will have the bar open for the duration of the social.
Parking will vary from venue to venue but may be limited. Please make use of street parking but do so responsibly and please be mindful of our neighbours.
There will be very limited space for buggy and pram storage. We advise bringing a baby carrier or sling for pre-walkers.
There will be on-site facilities at all socials.
We are on the look out for venues across Manchester with a capacity of 200 minimum. Please let us know if you can think of somewhere suitable for a social!
