Bring your family to join us for Our Kids Social – Sunday Service at The Bombed Out Church. This spectacular roofless venue promises to provide a magical setting this summer, so bring your family to our community and join us as we dance the afternoon away.
Back in Liverpool following a sell out event at Baltic Market, Our Kids Social are bringing their brand of family fun to the iconic Scouse landmark – St Luke’s.
Sunday Service offers you the chance to bring your families and friends to a unique afternoon of togetherness and fun. Everyone is welcome on our dancefloor – we can’t wait to see your moves!
To begin, let your creative juices flow at our arts and crafts station. Your imaginations can run wild as you create your prop masterpieces for use on the dancefloor. With a variety of OKS art projects to complete, this is great for families and friends to complete together and get you all in the dancefloor mood.
The OKS photoframe and fancy dress hamper will be on hand for you to create an alternate family photo. Grab a wig or some glasses, a hat or a cape and smile for the camera. Plus we have fab festival facepaint from our resident artist – Pipsqueaks Facepainting (not just for children!)
Then it’s onto the dancefloor for our two channel silent disco – with kids’ pop and adults’ guilty pleasures, the choice is yours – Little Mix vs Candi Staton, One Direction vs Bon Jovi – YOU decide.
The OKS community is open to everyone aged 4-104 and we can’t wait to meet you all. Bring us your dabbing Dads, Mums who can mambo and Gangnamming Grans. We want to see your best moves so show us what you’ve got. We promise the best tunes to get you jumping and the church rocking.
With a transparent marquee in place, a toilet unit and a bar we have everything you need this summer, whatever the British weather throws at us! We can’t guarantee sunshine but we can guarantee great times with your tribe.
Bring your family to our community this July and join us for a knees up with your nippers – not to be missed!
At each venue, though secure, different rooms may be in use for different activities. It is the responsibility of parents to stay with their children at all times.
Staff on site at the social will hold DBS and Children's Safeguarding qualifications. We would ask that any concerns you have are raised with a member of the team immediately.
Adults will not be allowed to come to the social unless accompanied by children!
There will be qualified first aiders on site at all times.
All venues are fully licensed and will have the bar open for the duration of the social.
Parking will vary from venue to venue but may be limited. Please make use of street parking but do so responsibly and please be mindful of our neighbours.
There will be very limited space for buggy and pram storage. We advise bringing a baby carrier or sling for pre-walkers.
There will be on-site facilities at all socials.
We are on the look out for venues across Manchester with a capacity of 200 minimum. Please let us know if you can think of somewhere suitable for a social!
